Application for the 2025–2026 School Year

The Colorado Professional Fire Fighters Foundation (CPFF Foundation) is proud to offer the Randall Atkinson Scholarship Program, established in honor of longtime CPFF leader and mentor Randall Atkinson.

For the 2025–2026 academic year, the Foundation will award ten (10) one-time scholarships of $5,000 to eligible students pursuing higher education.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Be the child, grandchild, or legal dependent of a CPFF member in good standing
• Be entering or currently enrolled in an accredited:
  • Junior College
  • College or University
  • Trade or Technical School

Required Application Materials

Submit the following as part of your application:

• Completed Scholarship Application
• Current Resume
• High School or College Transcripts
• Two (2) Letters of Recommendation
• A 1–2 page essay addressing:

What does the sacrifice of firefighters mean to you, and how has it impacted your life?

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: 11:59 p.m. on August 11, 2025
• Finalist Interviews: Top 15 applicants will be invited to interview via Zoom in September 2025

Selection Committee

Applications will be reviewed by the CPFF Foundation Board of Directors Scholarship Committee.
